What it shows
This chart displays player turnover over time, with two stacked bars per year:
- Entering players (green bars): New players who got their first licence ever in that year
- Leaving players (red bars): Players who left the sport (inactive status) with their last licence ending in that year
Each bar is segmented by age category to understand which demographic groups are joining or leaving the sport.
Age categories
- Age unknown: Players without birth date (shown with hatched pattern)
Data scope
Exclusions:
- International players
Special rules:
- Adults (18+): both yearly and free licences are counted
- Juniors (<18): yearly licences are always counted; free licences only count if the player attended more than 1 course (to exclude trial participants)
